MISSION READINESS WEB SITE

United Nations: Office of Human Resources Management

The United Nations approached us in 2004 to redesign their Mission Readiness Handbook, a training tool used by the Department of Peacekeeping Operations in preparing UN employees, applicants and their families in undertaking field assignments.

Working closely with the UN Staff Counsellor's office, we adapted the design look and feel from the Mission Readiness Handbook. Joe Gilford prepared the text for the web site and MJ Broadbent came on board to provide the site's Information Architecture.

Provided for this project (also published on CD-ROM), was information architecture including high-level site maps and wireframes, art direction, graphic design, development and testing. This was also the first time the new Division for Organizational Development Logo was employed online.

Although only available internally on the United Nations intranet you may view the Mission Readiness Web Site mirrored, on our server.
