GETTING STARTEDJust as you are getting all of your material affairs in order, you need to “get yourself in order.” Ensuring your health—physically, spiritually, mentally and emotionally—is critical to a successful mission assignment. There are things you can do to prepare yourself. T o be appointed to a position in the United Nations you are required to have a complete physical examination from a UN approved doctor or other medical professional. We recommend you assess yourself and your family members using the Personal Health & Fitness Fact Sheet below. Bring this form with you when you consult with your physician.
